Learning Outcomes
This is the first book I designed. Through this project, I gained a systematic understanding of book layout design. I also learned about the design process and the content structure of a book. Moving forward, I’ll know how to make my books more engaging. Additionally, it helped me enhance my practical skills—I hand-dyed the cover and personally bound the entire book.

I created a book about traditional Chinese tie-dye techniques. Tie-dye is a traditional Chinese culture, and I want to keep and spread this culture. This book includes the introduction and history of tie-dye, old and new generation of dye artists, and my own tie-dye experiences.
